We’re launching a community review program to highlight local gems—and yes, we pay for honest feedback.

Simple. Straightforward.

• $5 — Honest written review (100–150 words)
   
• $8 — Written review with at least 1 original photo
   

If you want to write a longer, in-depth feature, you can email us your idea. Feature pieces are accepted by proposal only and pay more based on length, depth, and quality.

To keep things credible and useful:

• Must be honest—positive, negative, or mixed
   
• Must be from a real visit
   
• 100–150 words minimum
   
• Include at least one specific detail about your experience
   
• Photos (for the $8 tier) must be your own
   

You can submit your review under your real name, a nickname, or completely anonymously. Your payment is based on the review itself—not your identity.

We currently pay through:

• Cash App
   

Payment is sent within 24–48 hours after approval.

To keep things fair and legally safe:

• Fake or AI-generated reviews
   
• Reviews copied from other sites
   
• Reviews written as favors for business owners
   
• Copyrighted or non-original photos
   
• Harassing, defamatory, or harmful personal content
   

We reserve the right to deny any review that doesn’t meet our content standards, accuracy requirements, or quality guidelines, which is necessary to maintain the integrity of the site and comply with consumer protection laws.

Local businesses deserve real voices—not fake hype or corporate bots. Your experience helps neighbors discover hidden gems and keeps our community thriving. Think of leaving a review like tipping your favorite bartender—only it’s free, and nobody judges you for using too many exclamation points. Got a favorite taco truck, bookstore, or suspiciously good donut shop that deserves a shoutout? Tell us! 

We’re especially here for the locally owned gems—those places run by people who actually live in our town, not corporate robots in matching vests. Your review helps a neighbor discover their new obsession or finally convinces Carl to try something other than chain coffee. So go ahead—click, type, rave (or rant politely).
